A FEW PHOTOS CAN OFTEN SAY MORE THAN A THOUSAND WORDS
An older photo taken in the 1980s of Cerro Hermoso in the LLanganati Mountains in Ecuador. This peak is capped with black limestone that was once seabed and is now at almost 5000 meters altitude. This mysterious mountain has deep shafts and caves that have been formed some of them hundreds of feet deep. In 1988 and 1989 We mounted expeditions and explored many of these features, some of the shafts explored were up to 300 feet deep.
